CVE-2018-3912 is a high-severity buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Samsung SmartThings Hub STH-ETH-250 devices running firmware version 0.20.17. An authenticated attacker can exploit a strcpy call in the video-core process by sending an arbitrarily long "secretKey" value, leading to a stack-based buffer overflow. This can result in high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the device. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
