CVE-2018-20000 is a high-severity XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability affecting Apereo Bedework bw-webdav versions prior to 4.0.3. This flaw, found in webdav/servlet/common/MethodBase.java and webdav/servlet/common/PostRequestPars.java, allows an unauthenticated attacker to read local files on the server by submitting a specially crafted invite-reply document. With a CVSS v3 score of 7.5, this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and requires no user interaction, posing a significant risk of information disclosure. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
