CVE-2018-18980 is an XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability affecting Zoho ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager and OpManager versions prior to 12.3.214. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely trigger the transmission of local files, such as sensitive configuration data, to an arbitrary FTP server by manipulating the RequestXML parameter in a GET request. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, leading to high impact on confidentiality.
