CVE-2018-17896 describes a critical vulnerability in Yokogawa STARDOM Controllers (FCJ, FCN-100, FCN-RTU, FCN-500, all versions R4.10 and prior) where hard-coded credentials allow unauthorized access to maintenance functions. With a CVSS score of 8.1 (High), this vulnerability allows an attacker to gain full control over the system, including obtaining or modifying information, but only during maintenance operations.
