This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the same privileges as the vulnerable application by placing a malicious DLL in an uncontrolled search path. Rated with a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), exploitation requires user interaction and local access, but can lead to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor any evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
