The flaw stems from the JMeter server binding its RMI Registry to a wildcard host, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to gain access to the JMeterEngine. This remote access enables the attacker to send unauthorized code, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, as reflected by its CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL).
