CVE-2018-1241 describes a critical vulnerability in Dell EMC RecoverPoint and RecoverPoint for VMs (versions prior to 5.1.2 and 5.1.1.3, respectively) where LDAP passwords can be inadvertently written in plain-text to log files. This flaw allows an authenticated malicious user with access to these logs to steal sensitive LDAP credentials.
