CVE-2018-11866 is an integer overflow vulnerability in the WLAN component of various Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile and Wear platforms, including the IPQ8074, SD 845, and SDM710, among others. This flaw, rated 7.8 HIGH, stems from insufficient input length validation when calculating an internal structure size, allowing a local attacker to achieve high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts. While the vulnerability is severe, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
