CVE-2018-11081 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting Pivotal Operations Manager versions 2.2.x prior to 2.2.1, 2.1.x prior to 2.1.11, 2.0.x prior to 2.0.16, and 1.11.x prior to 2. The vulnerability stems from the failure to write UAA configuration to a temporary RAM disk, instead exposing these sensitive credentials directly on the system disk. This allows an authenticated remote attacker who has gained access to the Operations Manager VM to discover UAA credentials, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
