CVE-2018-10885 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Red Hat OpenShift versions 3.7 and 3.9, specifically when using the ovs-networkpolicy plugin. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious network-policy configuration, leading to the OpenShift Routing component crashing. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity, resulting in a complete loss of availability for the affected OpenShift cluster.
