CVE-2018-10545 describes a vulnerability in PHP versions before 5.6.35, 7.0.29, 7.1.16, and 7.2.4, affecting PHP-FPM. This flaw allows a local attacker in a multi-user environment to bypass opcache access controls by leveraging dumpable FPM child processes. By running gcore on a PHP-FPM worker process, an attacker can extract sensitive information from another user's PHP application memory. Rated as Medium severity (CVSS 4.7), the vulnerability requires local access and high attack complexity, with the primary impact being the compromise of confidentiality (CWE-200).
