CVE-2018-0461 describes an arbitrary script injection vulnerability in Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series Software, affecting models such as the 8811, 8841, and 8851. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied data. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into clicking a malicious link, leading to the execution of arbitrary script code in the user interface context.
