CVE-2018-0340 describes a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web framework of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) software. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) allows an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary script code or access sensitive browser-based information by convincing a user to click a malicious link or by injecting malicious code into a user request. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input validation.
