CVE-2018-0206 describes a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Unified Communications Manager. This flaw stems from insufficient input validation, allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to inject malicious script code. An attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into clicking a specially crafted link, potentially leading to arbitrary script execution or access to sensitive browser-based information. Rated 6.1 MEDIUM, the attack requires user interaction (UI:R) but can be executed remotely (AV:N) with low complexity (AC:L).
