CVE-2018-0091 describes a DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This flaw stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied input. With a CVSS score of 6.1 (MEDIUM), an unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this by tricking an administrative user into clicking a malicious link. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary script execution within the interface or access to sensitive browser-based information. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
