CVE-2018-0090 describes a vulnerability in Cisco NX-OS System Software affecting various Nexus and Multilayer Director Switches. A flaw in management interface ACL configuration, stemming from a bad code fix, allows unauthenticated, remote attackers to bypass configured ACLs. This can lead to traffic misclassification, high CPU utilization, and a denial of service (DoS) condition. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, impacting availability.
