CVE-2017-9030 describes a directory traversal vulnerability in the Codextrous B2J Contact (b2j_contact) extension for Joomla! versions prior to 2.1.13. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to bypass existing protection mechanisms, making it easier to read arbitrary uploaded files. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to high confidentiality impact. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
