CVE-2017-8790 describes a critical LDAP Injection vulnerability in Accellion FTA devices prior to version FTA_9_12_180. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit a flaw in the "filter" parameter of the ldaptest.html POST request to execute arbitrary LDAP queries, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its CVSS score of 9.8, there is no public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) and no evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
