CVE-2017-7787

CVE-2017-7787 is a high-severity information disclosure vulnerability affecting Mozilla Firefox, Firefox ESR, and Thunderbird versions prior to 55 and 52.3 respectively. It allows attackers to bypass same-origin policy protections during page reloads, enabling embedded iframes to access content from the top-level page. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can be exploited remotely without user interaction, leading to a complete compromise of confidentiality. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
