CVE-2017-7543 is a race condition affecting OpenStack Neutron versions prior to 7.2.0-12.1, 8.3.0-11.1, 9.3.1-2.1, and 10.0.2-1.1, as well as related Red Hat products. This flaw, triggered during minor overcloud updates, disables Neutron security groups by resetting critical bridge-nf-call parameters to zero. With a CVSS score of 5.9 (Medium), this vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to achieve high confidentiality impact by accessing exposed tenant VMs and network resources with high attack complexity.
