CVE-2017-6590

CVE-2017-6590 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability affecting network-manager-applet in specific Ubuntu LTS versions (12.04, 14.04, 16.04, 16.10). An attacker with physical access to a locked computer can exploit this flaw by leveraging a specially crafted Wi-Fi access point to gain access to local files and execute arbitrary commands as the lightdm user.
