CVE-2017-5032 describes a heap corruption vulnerability in PDFium, the PDF rendering engine used by Google Chrome prior to version 57.0.2987.98 on Windows. A remote attacker could trigger this vulnerability by enticing a user to open a specially crafted PDF file, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no authentication required, allowing for high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or KEV listing, and community discussion and media coverage have been minimal.
