CVE-2017-4907 describes a critical heap buffer-overflow vulnerability affecting VMware Unified Access Gateway (versions 2.5.x, 2.7.x, and 2.8.x prior to 2.8.1) and Horizon View (versions 7.x prior to 7.1.0 and 6.x prior to 6.2.4). This vulnerability, with a CVSS score of 9.8, allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the security gateway without user interaction. Despite its critical severity and high potential for complete compromise (confidentiality, integrity, and availability), there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and it is not listed on CISA's KEV catalog.
