CVE-2017-4057 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting McAfee Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) versions 3.10, 3.8, 3.6, and 3.4. Authenticated remote users can exploit this flaw through the web interface (GUI or GUI terminal commands) to gain elevated privileges. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
