CVE-2017-3564 is a high-severity vulnerability in the RBAC subcomponent of Oracle Solaris 11.3. A low-privileged attacker with logon access can exploit this vulnerability, requiring human interaction from a non-attacker, to achieve a complete takeover of the Solaris system. While the vulnerability is in Solaris, successful attacks can significantly impact additional products.
