CVE-2017-18769

CVE-2017-18769 describes an arbitrary file reading vulnerability affecting numerous NETGEAR router and extender models, including popular series like D6220, R7000, and WNDR3400v3, among others. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 4.6) allows an unauthenticated attacker with physical access to the device to compromise confidentiality by reading sensitive files. While the vulnerability has a low attack complexity, there is no known active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding it.
