CVE-2017-16875

25
FAUCET Score

CVE-2017-16875 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting Teluu pjproject (pjlib and pjlib-util) in PJSIP versions prior to 2.7.1. An attacker can trigger a double key unregistration in the ioqueue component by initiating a specially crafted socket connection, leading to an integer overflow. This overflow can cause ioqueue backends to reject future key registrations, resulting in a denial of service. The CVSS score is 7.5 (High), indicating a network-exploitable vulnerability with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, leading to high availability impact. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
