CVE-2017-16322 describes multiple critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities in the PubNub message handler of Insteon Hub firmware version 1012. An authenticated attacker can exploit these flaws by sending specially crafted commands via the PubNub service, specifically targeting the "cc" channel and the "c_group" key in the "s_sonos" command. This allows for arbitrary data overwriting, leading to a CVSS score of 9.9 (CRITICAL) due to its network-based attack vector, low complexity, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
