CVE-2017-15336 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability in the SIP backup feature across numerous Huawei products, including various DP300, IPS Module, NGFW Module, NIP, RP, SVN, SeMG, Secospace USG, TE, USG, VP, ViewPoint, and eSpace U series devices. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted SIP messages, leading to service disruption. This vulnerability has a CVSSv3 score of 5.3 (Medium), indicating a network-based attack with low complexity that can cause a partial denial of service.
