CVE-2017-14438 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Moxa EDR-810 V4.1 build 17030317. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger this vulnerability by sending a large, specially crafted packet to TCP port 4000, causing the device's Service Agent functionality to crash. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, leading to a complete loss of availability.
