CVE-2017-14389 is an "Application Subdomain Takeover" vulnerability affecting Cloud Foundry capi-release (prior to 1.45.0), cf-release (prior to v280), and cf-deployment (prior to v1.0.0). The Cloud Controller fails to prevent space developers from creating subdomains for routes owned by other users in different organizations and spaces. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) allows an unauthenticated attacker to achieve high integrity impact with low attack complexity, as it can be exploited over the network.
