CVE-2017-13000

CVE-2017-13000 describes a critical buffer over-read vulnerability in the IEEE 802.15.4 parser of tcpdump versions prior to 4.9.2. This flaw, rated 9.8 CVSS, allows unauthenticated remote attackers to achieve high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity.
