CVE-2017-12308 describes an HTTP response splitting vulnerability in the web framework of Cisco Small Business 300 and 500 Series Managed Switches. This flaw, due to insufficient input validation, allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to inject malicious code by convincing a user to click a malicious link or by intercepting requests. With a CVSS score of 6.1 (Medium), successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary script execution in the user's browser or access to sensitive browser-based information.
