CVE-2017-11563 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability affecting D-Link EyeOn Baby Monitor (DCS-825L) firmware version 1.08.1. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit a stack overflow in the device's UDP "Discover" service (finderD) by sending a crafted UDP request. This allows for arbitrary code execution with root privileges, leading to complete compromise of the device. Despite its critical severity (CVSS 9.8) and high community discussion, there is no public exploit code available in Metasploit, Nuclei, or ExploitDB, and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog.
