CVE-2017-11345 describes a stack buffer overflow in the networkmap component of Asuswrt-Merlin and official ASUS firmware for numerous ASUS router models. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a router into processing a specially crafted XML document via an SSDP response. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, though it requires user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
