CVE-2017-1000018 describes a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting phpMyAdmin versions 4.0, 4.4, and 4.6. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger this DoS by supplying a specially crafted table name to the replication status feature. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to a complete loss of availability for the affected phpMyAdmin instance.
