CVE-2017-0027

CVE-2017-0027 is an information disclosure vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Microsoft Excel, Office Compatibility Pack, and Excel Services on SharePoint Server 2013. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw by enticing a user to open a specially crafted Office document, leading to the disclosure of sensitive information from process memory. While the attack complexity is high and user interaction is required, successful exploitation grants an attacker access to confidential data.
