CVE-2016-9934 is a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the WDDX extension of PHP versions prior to 5.6.28 and 7.0.13. This flaw allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by providing specially crafted serialized data within a wddxPacket XML document. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without user interaction, leading to high availability impact. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
