CVE-2016-9808 describes an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the FLIC decoder of GStreamer versions prior to 1.10.2. This flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service (crash) by providing a specially crafted series of skip and count pairs. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability can be exploited over the network with low attack complexity, requiring no user interaction, and resulting in high availability impact.
