CVE-2016-9108 describes an integer overflow vulnerability in the js_regcomp function of Artifex Software, Inc. MuJS, affecting versions prior to commit b6de34ac6d8bb7dd5461c57940acfbd3ee7fd93e, as well as Fedora Project's MuJS. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial of service (application crash) by providing a specially crafted regular expression. Rated with a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), it presents a low attack complexity and requires no user interaction, but only impacts availability.
