CVE-2016-8631

CVE-2016-8631 describes a vulnerability in Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise 3 where the router improperly sorts newly added routes. An authenticated attacker, with privileges to create routes, could exploit this to overwrite existing routes, thereby redirecting network traffic intended for other users to their own malicious site. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.7) has a low attack complexity and could lead to significant integrity impacts, though it does not affect confidentiality or availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
