This flaw allows an attacker to write to normally read-only SNMP variables on UDP port 161, which should only be configurable via TIA-Portal. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), successful exploitation could lead to reduced availability or a denial-of-service condition. This vulnerability is actively exploited in the wild, as indicated by its inclusion in the KEV catalog, despite a lack of public exploit code or significant community discussion.
