CVE-2016-6669 describes a buffer overflow vulnerability in the AAA module of several Huawei USG series unified security gateways (USG2100, USG2200, USG5100, USG5500) running specific software versions. This high-severity flaw (CVSS 7.5) allows a remote, authenticated RADIUS server to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted EAP packet. While the attack complexity is high, successful exploitation could lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
