CVE-2016-6432 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the Identity Firewall feature of Cisco ASA Software versions prior to 9.6(2.1). This flaw allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger a system reload or achieve arbitrary code execution by sending a specially crafted NetBIOS packet in response to an ASA probe. With a CVSS score of 8.1 (High), the vulnerability presents a significant risk due to its network-based attack vector and potential for full system compromise.
