CVE-2016-6426 describes a vulnerability in the j_spring_security_switch_user function within Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC) versions 8.5.4 through 9.1(1) and Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) versions 10.0(1) through 11.0(1). This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to create new user accounts by simply accessing a specific web page. Rated with a CVSS v3 score of 7.5 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a high impact on integrity by enabling unauthorized account creation.
