CVE-2016-3624 describes an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the cvtClump function of the rgb2ycbcr tool within LibTIFF versions 4.0.6 and earlier. This flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by supplying a negative value to the "-v" option. With a CVSS v3 score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a high impact on availability.
