CVE-2016-2863 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting IBM WebSphere Commerce versions 7.0 Feature Pack 8, 8.0.0.x before 8.0.0.10, and 8.0.1.x before 8.0.1.2. This flaw allows a remote authenticated attacker to hijack the session of another user to execute requests that inject Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) sequences. With a CVSS v3 score of 8.0 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, requiring user interaction and leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
