18
FAUCET Score

CVE-2016-1694 describes a vulnerability in Google Chrome (before version 51.0.2704.63) where clearing the browser cache also inadvertently deleted HTTP Public Key Pinning (HPKP) pins. This flaw, affecting various Linux distributions, could allow remote attackers to spoof websites using valid certificates from any recognized Certificate Authority. With a CVSS score of 5.3 (Medium), exploitation requires user interaction and high attack complexity, but could lead to high integrity impact by enabling website impersonation. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog.
