CVE-2016-1570 describes a vulnerability in the PV superpage functionality of Xen versions 3.4.0, 3.4.1, and 4.1.x through 4.6.x. This flaw allows local PV guests to manipulate page identifiers via specific hypercalls, leading to a high-severity impact. Attackers could achieve information disclosure, denial of service, or privilege escalation with high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts, despite requiring low privileges and high attack complexity. There is currently no known active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
