CVE-2016-10419 is a critical out-of-bounds access vulnerability affecting Android devices running specific Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile chipsets (MDM9640, MDM9645, MDM9650, MDM9655, SD 450, SD 625, SD 650/52, SD 820, SD 835, SD 845, SD 850, and SDX20) with security patch levels prior to April 5, 2018. The flaw occurs during scheduler object service request initialization due to an uninitialized object number. With a CVSSv3 score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is remotely exploitable with low attack complexity, requiring no user interaction, and could lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
